Daniel DeSilva was born in Bermuda, and became interested in Art at an early age. He has lived most of his life on the island. He left to attend the Ontario College of Art to study Illustration and Design and later went to the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design to study Fine Art and Art Education. He teaches at a local high school, and paints most of his works over the course of the year during breaks from school.
